Finish Your Script!

My good friend and improv guru Del Close often said “I don’t just allow failure. I require it.”

If you have a script shoved into a desk drawer or saved on an obscure file in your laptop, and need the motivation to finish it—have we got a class for you!

This brand new four-week class is designed for people who have written partial half-hour scripts or first drafts, but have somehow never quite finished them.

Next Session: Coming soon.

Instructor: KimHoward” Johnson

Cost: $150

TAKE THE CLASS
Please be advised, tuition is non-refundable. If you cannot attend the class you registered for, we can roll your tuition to be used during another session as long as you contact thecomedylab.net 24 hours prior to the class beginning. If you reach out after that, we cannot roll your tuition.

This class will provide you with the support and inspiration that you need to finish writing or re-writing a sitcom spec or pilot script. Whether you need structure—or simply a kick in the rear—Finish Your Script! is there to provide you with the encouragement, motivation and skills to let you take it the rest of the way home.

One of the most rewarding experiences of my teaching career is seeing students come to class the final week with completed half-hour scripts. But the truth is, sometimes real life can interfere with the best of intentions, and eight weeks isn’t always enough time to finish writing and polishing your script. That’s why I created Finish Your Script! Sometimes an extra month can make all the difference. And because it’s only half the length of a regular session, it’s only half the cost. Isn’t it worth a few more weeks to come up with a script you can be proud of?

So if you’re finished with the prerequisite failure, it’s time to start succeeding.

Let us drag you across the finish line. Give your writing packet a shot in the arm with Finish Your Script!

NOTE: This class is not designed for beginners. It is designed for Comedy Lab students with partially completed sitcom scripts, as well as writers who have completed a reasonable portion of a sitcom spec script. If you haven’t written before, I would strongly suggest that you investigate our Sitcom Spec Script class. If you’re not sure, email me and I’ll help you decide.
