Writing Classes
Our TV Writing classes can be taken in any order you like, although there is a suggested sequence based on the student’s experience and skill level. But all four classes have one thing in common: if a student shows up to class online every week and does all of the work, at the end of each eight-week session, he or she will have a packet of material and will know how it can be used in hopes of attracting an agent.
Talk Show Portfolio
Create a state-of-the-art talk show portfolio suitable for submission to literary agents, TV producers, and network executives.

SNL Sketch Packet
Create at least eight separate sketches, suitable for submission to literary agents, TV producers, network executives, not to mention SNL itself.

Sitcom Spec Script
Create a spec script of a current show suitable for submission to literary agents, TV producers and/or network executives.

TV Pilot Presentation
Create a full pilot concept, including a script, suitable for submission to literary agents, TV producers and/or network executives

The Python Process: Advanced Sketch Writing, Re-writing, and Collaborating
By popular demand, Howard is bringing back this much-requested class, which features his own insights into the Monty Python writing process, and how it can work for you. This eight-week workshop will immerse participants in the Python creative process, and by the end of the final session, participants will have completed, polished sketches which can be recorded via Zoom and posted to Youtube and other sites.
